Since breaking into the industry in 2018, A&D Construction Services LLC has been recognized as a dependable contractor servicing the metro Twin Cities area. Started by business partners Antoine Smoot and Damarius Cruz, A&D Construction is one of the quickest up-and-coming black owned construction businesses in Minnesota. We strive to provide our clients with a wide range of services covering many different remodeling needs. Any project you have in mind, our professional team will work diligently to bring your vision to life!

Antoine Smoot was born in Long Beach, California and grew up in North Minneapolis after moving around much of his life. He starting working for his uncle's construction company when he was just 16-years-old, and has more than 14 years experience in the business. Antoine was a journeyman bricklayer before starting A&D Construction Services last year with high school friend, Damarius Cruz. These days he spends most of his time working their quickly expanding company, and raising his young daughters in the Twin Cities area.

Retired college athlete turned business owner, Damarius Cruz was born in Maryland and grew up in Minnesota. After graduating college and moving back to Maryland for four years, Damarius returned to Minnesota and worked in construction for three years before starting A&D Construction Services in 2018 with child-hood friend, Antoine Smoot. Since then, he's been extremely busy with their rapidly growing business and taking care of his first daughter, who he welcomed into their family in April of 2020.

A&D Construction team is efficient, professional, crafty, and knows how to get the job done on budget. We had them tile our bathroom and it looks so good the final product was finished with commercial grade quality. YOU GUYS!!!!!! I got a backsplash installed this weekend by A&D Construction Services and I could NOT be happier!!!!!!!! These hard working men put this beautiful backsplash in and we’re amazing to work with. They work hard, do beautiful work, and are accommodating! I am SO happy with my kitchen I will definitely be calling them again for more work!
